Me, summed up.

I can't even count how many times I have organized photoshoots for our family. Photo gifts are my JAM. Becoming a mama made my love for photographs heighten... to almost an obsession. Because, well, time. It is a real thief. When you don't find me behind the lens or editing your beautiful pictures, you can find me with these lovely humans below. I have the world's best husband. I know I am biased, but it is true. He is crazy supportive of my passion, and is the best daddy ever. He is always down for my crazy house projects.. okay maybe not all the time, but he agrees they were a good idea in the end- just maybe not during the chaos of completing them. We have two wild & sweet boys and a beautiful little girl. Some days maybe harder than others, but I love it all- the chaos and the calm. It amazes me how each day you can watch before your eyes these sweet babies grow and learn new things. The best moments of our life. We may be tired somedays, but we are so blessed!

Pictures have always held so much meaning to me. Even more so since I lost my brother in December of 2009. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see that we had no recent photographs of him. We had a few relatively recent ones, but the majority were his senior pictures and childhood pictures. That was hard for me. And to be honest, is still hard for me. I know some people do not like their pictures taken. And I do respect that, however I think everyone needs to remember that pictures are not just for you. They are for your loved ones. The family pictures you take today will mean so much to your kids and your future grandkids someday. So take the picture and create the memory!
